| Trace the basket, leaf and
flower onto a piece of paper and cut around them to make the templates.
Fold the basket coloured card and lay the template on it, with the edge
marked fold laying on the fold of the card.
Draw around the template and cut out the basket, saving one of the pieces
of card you have cut out of the middle.
Draw a pattern on the basket to look like woven wicker.
Glue the saved piece of card onto the inside of the front of the basket,
so that about 3cm is visible, as shown. This protruding piece of card is where you glue
your leaves and flowers.
Using the template as before, cut as many leaves as you want out of the
green card and then again using the template cut lots of flowers out of the tissue . Glue
them onto the card to look like a posy set in the basket. Using 2 or more layers of tissue
for each flower gives a more 3D effect. Scrunch up small pieces of contrasting tissue and
glue one in the centre of each flower.
Finally add a tissue or ribbon bow to the basket handle.
